This house is all about vision. The talent and ability to see what can become of an ordinary 1950's brick ranch on a 100 x 300 lot with mature trees and a sloping walk-out rear yard. The house is neither large by comparison with others we have done, 2700 square feet, nor is it the most expensive. It is however proof that you can take an ordinary home and by combining what is already there with a well planned overall design and properly sized addition create results that are truly amazing.

We begin by transforming the exterior with small revisions to the roof lines, adding well placed windows and door walls, chimneys and high profile flues, stucco and stone veneer, decks, ponds and landscaping.

To the interior we added a vaulted entry foyer and a bath with a whirlpool tub where once there was a kitchen. A gourmet kitchen where once their was a living room with a granite counter topped island complete with seating, prep sink, facing the rear yard and the new deck with a view of the waterfall, new pond and terraced boulder walls that serve as a playground for the wildlife.

Add to that a formal dining room with fireplace that was once a TV room. A new addition with a beamed great room, fireplace and built-in widescreen entertainment center, laundry and full bath. Combined with the other two baths and two fireplaces that were renovated, a color scheme that "wows" everyone when they enter the home. The results are impossible to be modest about and again evidence that you donít have to spend a great deal of money or require a huge amount of square feet to achieve a feeling of luxury and comfort.
