Project: Fernhurst Drive

Take an existing home that was originally built in the early 1930's, added on to a number of times by more than one previous owner with no drawings on record, was sagging in a number of areas indicating questionable sub soil conditions, surrounded by water on two sides and try to blend portions of the existing structure with a two story addition on three sides, a complete exterior make over combined with updating the existing, heating, plumbing and electrical systems and you have a professional challenge.

We began with tearing off old portions of the house, doing soil borings, adding helical piers thirty plus feet deep in places to reach solid sub strata to support new grade beams and foundations designed to carry the load of the new structure. Over the course of the next few months we tied the entire structure together and the results were spectacular.
